Does the next generation of Americans face a genuine threat from advancing workplace technology? If so, what are the dangers – not just economic, but social, political, even moral – to the country as a whole? Most importantly, what can be done about it? The Harvard Club of Wisconsin along with the Harvard Business School Club invite you to hear from Professor Benjamin Friedman, award-winning economist, and author.
Benjamin M. Friedman is the William Joseph Maier Professor of Political Economy, and former Chairman of the Department of Economics at Harvard University where he has taught for more than three decades. He has written extensively on economics, in particular on the role of the financial markets in shaping how monetary and fiscal policies affect overall economic activity.
